At Squadrontees, we’re more than just an apparel brand — we’re a tribute to the men and women who serve our country with sacrifice, bravery, and pride. Every design we make honors the legacy, grit, and brotherhood that defines our military.
After living on Marine and Naval Air Stations around the globe for over 20 years, my love for aviation was here to stay. Dad, call sign “Lazer” started his career flying the Phantom in the early 1970’s. He then graduated from Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) in the early 1980’s and began flying the Skyhawk as an Adversary pilot. At the end of his career, he transitioned to NAS Kingsville and trained Navy and Marine students for their “Wings of Gold.” Lazer now lives in Katy, Texas and actively advises and consults Squadrontees from a design perspective.
During dad’s time in the Marines, he would bring home squadron t-shirts or morale wear items. I always cherished these items. There was one that I remembered well in 2007 which sparked the birth of Squadrontees.
That shirt showed a heads-on view of 3 Phantoms. The text said at the top of the shirt, “From the West, Came Three Wise Men.” Under the Phantoms it said, “Burying Gifts.”
I then created art for this design and utilized the equipment at our company Creative Stitch Inc. We put this design on-line and it sold within 24 hours. We listed it again, and it sold quickly. We then received requests from these customers to assist them with other designs from their time in the service. We completed these designs and never looked back.
Business licenses with USN, USAF, and USMC were then applied for and obtained. We now have over 1,500 designs and work regularly with active-duty squadrons, retired personnel, family, and friends. We also engage regularly with supplying items for squadron reunions.
Active duty and retired military always seem to be some of the finest people you could ever meet.
